Winning an NAHB Professional Women in Building award gives local PWB councils and members national recognition and provides scholarship money for students taking building-related courses in their communities.

Get your slice of the pie. If your local PWB participated in a community service program, created a project that helps recruit and mentor new members, or mobilized members at the grassroots level to  help shape political outcomes for pro-housing issues, we want to know. The PWB awards is also a great opportunity to honor and recognize individual members who have provided excellent service for at the local, state, and national levels — this includes at-large members too! 

The NAHB PWB awards are divided into the following categories: 

Local Council Project Awards

• Community Outreach Programs 
• Legislative and Political Advocacy
• Innovative Programs

Individual Leadership Awards

• Woman of the Year
• Member of the Year
• National (at-large) Member of the Year
• One to Watch (PWB members 40 and under)
• Executive Officer of the Year

Grants

• Continuing Education
• Member Travel to IBS (for local leaders aspiring to serve at the national PWB level.)
